When you order a whole beef from Stick Leg Ranch you get roughly 400 pounds of ranch-raised, grass-fed beef in your freezer. This is plenty of meat for a large family to enjoy ground beef, steaks, roasts, and more for many family dinners all year long.
We ask that you pay a DEPOSIT of $1,000 to reserve your whole beef now and pay the rest at the time of delivery (cash, check or card). A whole beef runs $3,400 total, at $8.50 per pound of meat cut and wrapped. A good rule of thumb to help you plan accordingly is that 35 pounds of beef will take up 1 cubic foot of freezer space.
A whole beef gives you roughly 180 pounds of ground beef and 220 of steaks and roast.
