I started when I nannied in Connecticut. I was on a horse ranch and the guy who was the grounds keeper also managed their large garden. So I was often Brought baskets of fresh fruits, veggies and herbs. The kitchen we also massive and have every implement I could ever need. Cooking was really fun then. I learned to cook from my imagination. I never did get good at writing down the recipe.
I have definitely seen my day where I didn't have time to cook, a desire to cook, and really didn't have food worth creating with...I mean Honey Nut Cheerios and ramen can only be presented in so many ways!
But here I am...fresh beef, a huge garden that I get to manage and grow and preserve things that will grow up here! I am loving this again. It is so fun for me to curate and be creative again.
I am still terrible at remembering to write stuff down, but I am getting a little better at it!
