Chimichurri is a blended herb sauce typically made with parsley and/or cilantro as its base. We like it best served with a grilled steak but it can even be used as a salad dressing if you plan to serve your steak over greens.

Ingredients

 

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ shallot, minced
  • 1 ½ cups extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

 

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

  • When ready to serve, drizzle on top of your favorite grilled steak such as NY Strip, Flat Iron or Sirloin.
