Chimichurri is a blended herb sauce typically made with parsley and/or cilantro as its base. We like it best served with a grilled steak but it can even be used as a salad dressing if you plan to serve your steak over greens.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ½ shallot, minced
- 1 ½ cups extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
-
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
-
When ready to serve, drizzle on top of your favorite grilled steak such as NY Strip, Flat Iron or Sirloin.
